What kind of medium do you use in your artwork? - Chris Quinlan Artist uses only quality oils and acrylics on stretched canvas. Sometimes Oil pastels are used but only on paper. There are no Oil pastels in the Galleries as of yet. Oil pastels and other mediums can be requested in commissioned artwork. 

Do you sell prints or copies on your website? - Chris Quinlan Artist does not sell prints, we only sell original artwork. Each painting purchased is a unique piece. When a 'similar painting' is purchased it will have slight differences and therefore becomes a commissioned 'limited edition', limited to 25 reproductions. Each piece comes with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA)  showing specific details, especially limited edition number & signature.

Are the sizes listed on your gallery pages accurate? - Sizes are usually accurate, sometimes they can vary slightly. If you are not satisfied with the paintings size when you receive it, you may have the painting replaced. If it is returned within 14 days.

Can I be notified when you add more new paintings to your website? - Yes, You can request to be placed on the artists list to receive news and information on new artwork and upcoming events. Simply email the artist directly at:

Do you offer advice on how to hang my painting? - Yes, hanging tips are offered. Se Art care & maintenance or email the Artist directly with you query or question at:                 

How should I clean and protect the painting? - Never use a glass cleaner to clean oil or acrylic paintings. Use a soft damp cloth using water only, wipe the surface very gently. Also using a duster will remove dust easily. More on cleaning, hanging, and maintaining the painting at Art care and maintenance

Do you create commissioned paintings? - Yes, you can simply email the artist at:   Request a commissioned painting, specific details  i.e. sizes, colours or multiple canvas XL canvases or whatever detail you may like. Commissioned artwork can only be paid by Cheque or postal order, Email to request address. Allow 4 to 6 weeks for painting, drying and delivery of a commissioned piece. Commissioned Art is Priced approximately the same as the paintings in the Galleries. You will be notified by email at every stage of the creation of your new painting

Can I order a painting that is marked 'Original Sold'? - Yes, When a painting is sold it can be reproduced. It will be similar with slight differences. It will become a commissioned 'limited edition', limited to 12 reproductions. After this the painting will be taken off the market and prints will never be made of the painting in question (prints of all Chris Quinlan Artist work must have the permission of the artist). When all limited editions are painted the Image in question will be marked sold out....

Each piece comes with a COA (Certificate of Authenticity)  showing specific details, especially limited edition number & signature and personal mark of the Artist Chris Quinlan

Note: You can purchase through the same checkout button as the painting you want reproduced. You will then be emailed to verify your payment has been received and the new painting can be started. Allow 4 to 6 weeks for creation, drying and delivery of your new painting. form the day you receive the painting if you are unhappy with it, you can return it within (14) days to receive a refund (less shipping) or order another piece.

What is the goal of your website? - The goal of this website is to present the artwork of Chris Quinlan - Irish Artist and offer an online shopping experience that lets you purchase art that is original and unique. The excellent prices are due to cutting out the middle guys, the commission goes to the customers. The unique price you see with each painting image is the final price. Shipping & packaging are inclusive. (insurance included also).

Is the free delivery offered Worldwide? - Yes Free delivery is offered worldwide. This also includes insurance for piece of mind for both the Customer and the Artist. Packaging is also included. The price highlighted in Red in the Galleries is the final price you pay. More info at 'Free Delivery'
